Wolfie is officially train obsessed. Here are 5 train books that he's been loving––for many months now! They're each a bit different, and I've told you my favorite aspects from each below.* :)
This is such a cute, simple book that was a A Caldecott Honor Award Winner. I love how each page focuses on just a few words - with a big focus on colors. The illustrations are simple and beautiful!
I freaking love this book (and so does Wolfie). The rhythm of the words, the silliness of it, the huge amount of vocabulary it introduces. Sooo cute. The illustrations are so bright and captivating. And, the last page is an awesome flip out. :)

This book has a little coin you move along various tracks on each page! Super interactive - and has diagrams on each page that will grow with him as his interest gets more detailed. ;)
We got this book at a local bookstore and I'm so happy we found it. The sound effect words are a bit hit, and the rhyming in this one is great. It's a cute story about loading the freight, don't be late, and the train goes to sleep at the end. ;)
This book has the cutest tabs to push and pull - the story is cute, including going in and out of a tunnel and over a hill. There are adorable animal characters in a bright, busy book. Big hit!!
