Best Classical Music Sound Books for Kids

With a doctorate in music, it was essential we had some good classical music playing books around! I am so pleased the we've found a lot of good ones. Here are the top 3 that have gotten the most playing and use in our home.

#1: Jam Jam Books

I CAN NOT rave about these books enough. We started reading these to Wolfie and singing along when he was born. They are still a favorite of his now and have seen some serious love.

Why I love them: The illustrations are very fun, the stories are cute, and most importantly, the music quality is excellent! The books include core repertoire worth exposing babies to as soon as you can. (And, nice for parents, too!) There are 10 to choose from. We have all of them...

They're slightly harder to find, but you can always grab them on their website here: https://jamjambooks.com/collections/all

#2: Allegro: A Musical Journey Through 11 Musical Masterpieces

This book* is absolutely adorable. The story is SO sweet, and Wolfie has seemed to find Allegro a relatable character!

Why I love it: The music quality is excellent, it includes more wonderful repertoire, and this story really is a winner. It’s super simple and easy to get through.

#3: The Animal Orchestra plays Mozart

We were actually gifted this book, and it is so cool because there are little cutouts on every page that Wolfie was immediately drawn to. They have little facts about the composer and pieces sprinkled throughout, which is nice.  We have the Mozart version but there is also a Beethoven one.

Why I love it: Again, the music quality is wonderful, and there is great repertoire included. But I love this one because of the cutout element, and the beauty of the illustrations.
